Concerned about hair loss?

As a woman, it could be that you’re going through perimenopause. There could be real medical problems causing your hair to thin.

  1. Thyroid imbalances can cause your hair follicles to become inactive. This may cause your hair to become more brittle and break more easily.

  2. Declining levels of estrogen causes an imbalance with testosterone which can lead to thinning of the hair.

  3. Stress can cause your hair to fall out more easily due to the changes in hormones from prolonged stress.

  4. A lack of vitamins A and D as well as iron and protein can cause hair to fall out more quickly than normal.

It’s best to have a blood test checking hormone levels, vitamin and mineral levels to confirm what is causing the hair loss.
