Defense Against the Flu

The flu vaccine may not be the best defense against the flu. Here are some basic tips to keep you healthy during the cold and flu season.

  1. Wash your hands after every contact with others. Basic hygiene is your first defense.
  2. Take Vitamin D3 5,000 IU daily to help boost your immune system.
  3. Oregano oil can help with sore throats from the common cold.
  4. Take Vitamin C 1,000 mg three to four times a day. It best to take it with zinc which helps absorption.
  5. A combination of herbs can help with symptoms, such as Elderberry and ginseng.
